Preparing the first hour

The session lasts sixty minutes, by video call, and costs €200 excl. VAT. It serves one purpose: telling you what in your product will be paid for first.

What to tell me beforehand

Five pieces of information, and the reason I ask for them. An hour that begins with a discovery is half an hour of diagnostic.

The main language and framework

So I can tell you before the call where I am most use to you — and, if someone else is more use on your subject, point you to them right away.

The age of the project, and who wrote it

You, a team, an AI assistant, all three in turn. Code written fast by a machine and code aged by five years of fixes do not present the same weaknesses, and you do not look for them in the same place.

Whether it runs in production, and with how many users

That is what decides whether we are talking about prevention or damage already under way. Both can be dealt with, but not in the same order.

The deadline putting you under pressure

A raise, an enterprise client’s technical audit, a rapid rise in user numbers, a dated go-live. That is what sets the order of priorities — without it, I am ranking risks in a vacuum.

The precise point that worries you

Even roughly phrased, even in one sentence. That is where I start.

Send them to hello@designhorizon.io, or note them down when booking: the scheduling form asks the same questions.

Depending on your need, the right door

A short list, to point you quickly to the right person — sometimes me, sometimes someone else.

  • Visual identity, illustration, finished mockups: a graphic designer. I know some, and I will make the introduction.
  • A brochure site, an online shop on an existing platform, WordPress or Webflow: an agency or a specialist integrator.
  • A technical decision already taken, to be carried out by the day: a developer — and I can help you frame the request.
  • Production down right now: your hosting provider first. Afterwards, I look at why it happened and how to make it impossible.
SCHEDULING

The scheduling module is provided by Calendly, which sets its own cookies. You can accept them to display the calendar on this page, or open Calendly in a tab — the result is the same.
